MENELAOS - King of Lacedemonia (Sparta). Son of Atreus, brother of Agamemnon, husband of Helen. The objective of the Greek expedition is return Helen to him. He is quite skilled in the use of the spear, although is not one of the best warriors. He has enough sympathies among most of the Greek heroes.
