HECTOR - Trojan Prince, eldest among the childresn of Priam King of Troy. Main commander of the trojan forces. He was expected to become king of Troy after his father. Well-know as Hector killer of men or Hector of the flashing helm. Great talent in war. Great stature. Often leaves the trojans lines to attack and to disorganize to the Greek lines.

Hector was a pious (he would not offer a libation to the gods with unwashed hands, or pray while being bespattered with blood and filth) and temperate man (he would abstain, during a break in the battle, to drink wine, for he felt it would make him forgetful of his courage). He was very angry with his brother Paris, to have been cause of the war.
