AJAX TELAMON - Leader of Salaminians forces. Son of Telamon King of Salamis. His wife was the daughter of the Phrygian king Teleutas. Also know as Greater Ajax. Giant warrior who meets Hector´s challenge and also wounds Aeneas. He is a bulwark of the Greek line. Is enormous, and can stand alone with his great shield the assaults of many enemies.

Ajax was born when Heracles prayed to Zeus that his friend Telamon may have a brave son. Ajax was a heroic and noble warrior, he never acted in a cowardly or treacherous way, as other leaders.
